A quick introduction to the project and its partners

The Green Mystery Guest project (2022-1-IT01-KA210-VET-000081020), aims to integrate sustainability into the evaluation practices of mystery guests in the tourism sector.

The primary objectives are:

  • To enhance the skills of mystery guests by incorporating sustainability aspects into their evaluations.
  • To raise awareness about the role of sustainability in building a company’s social reputation and customer satisfaction, thus promoting a green transition in tourism.

Key outcomes include:

  • A sustainability checklist for hospitality structures.
  • A three-module online course for training mystery guests and hospitality managers on sustainability practices.
  • Policy recommendations for decision-makers in tourism to encourage ecological transitions.

The project includes three key partners from Italy, Romania and Spain.

  • Igor Vitale International (Italy): Specializes in psychology applied to various sectors, including tourism. The expertise includes training, corporate consulting, and producing educational materials, such as online courses. They lead the project, focusing on developing the sustainability checklist and coordinating the overall activities.
  • Travel Hospitality Events Management (Romania): A consultancy firm with over 30 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, and event management. They bring expertise in evaluating hospitality structures, marketing, and sustainable food projects, and are responsible for coordinating the online course.
  • Poderío Training & Research (Spain): A multidisciplinary training organization with expertise in coaching, emotional intelligence, and vocational training. They focus on developing recommendations for companies and policymakers in the tourism sector.

Peppe Zullo - Chef and Farmer. Peppe Zullo, one of the most representative Italian chefs of sustainable cuisine have been interviewed in Green Mystery Guest to promote green attitudes and behavior in gastronomy.
Elena Corona - Agri-Chef. Elena Corona is a Certified Agri-Chef from Sardinia Island operating with Educational Cuisine Activities like cooking and agriculture classes for schools and guests.
